Brian — an ISSA-certified personal coach — develops customized plans based on each person’s needs/goals (their hill). He’s created resistance training plans for high school athletes, provides nutrition guidance for an Over This Hill champion’s autoimmune condition that led to increased movement and pain reduction, and he continues to research health/fitness technology to discover ways to best incorporate these tools into daily lives.

Chronic back pain made it difficult for Brian to drive his car, put on his shoes, go for walks, play with his kids and do many activities he loved. After doctor-prescribed cortisol shots and pain medication didn’t fix the problem, Brian made a vow: He would do whatever it took to get his life back.

With more than a decade of gathering health and fitness knowledge, Brian successfully rallied against pain from sciatica, a herniated disc and lumbar myelopathy. Now he works to help people use resistance training, focus on mobility/stability and finding enjoyment in moving to transcend the challenges in their lives.

Today, Brian not only walks without pain — he also rows, bikes and occasionally does cartwheels with his daughter.

Brian established Over This Hill in 2024 to share his knowledge and passion to help people reach their goals. “Everyone’s hill is different and I want to help you take that first step toward a better life,” he says. “Let’s make a plan together to help you get Over This Hill.”
